Castello di Casalborgone was beautifully restored and furnished with high end antiques that cannot be replaced if damaged. We therefore need all our guests to help us keeping these treasures alive.
Castello di Casalborgone is an invitation to the elegance of silence, a journey to a peaceful mind and mindful connection with nature. We therefore have turned our beautiful castle into a place free of electronic entertainment. There are no TVs and no electronic music. Any kind of musical entertainment will be live music. Please bring earphones if you wish to listen to music or watch Netflix on your computer. We do have strong WIFI if you choose this as a private entertainment.
We are not a Marriott or Intercontinental Hotel: Our furniture is a selection of unique unreplaceable items: our furniture, the piano and our rugs are antique and cannot be replaced in case of damage. Please place drinks on tables only. A Piano is not a table: please honor it.
Tea, coffee and beverages can be consumed in the Restaurant areas, Reception and in the Cognac room only. Exceptions may apply upon request.
Opening hours of our social areas:
The Reception, Billiard Room, Cognac Room, Ballroom, Library and Vape Room are 7:00 am to midnight.
Our fireplaces are for decoration only. Please refrain from throwing anything in them.
Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner and will not cause nuisance or annoyance within the Castle and grounds. Respect all property of the Castle. Guests are responsible for any loss or damage to Castle property caused by them, their friends or by any person for whom they are responsible.
Hotel Rooms
Check in is from 2pm, and check out is by 12 midday. Late check out can be requested for a fee if the room is still available.
We have storage for luggage available if a late check out is not possible. Please contact reception to arrange.
We accept all major credit cards. Cash payments are limited to EUR 3.000 per guest by Italian law. Personal checks not accepted.
The duvets are specially designed for each room. Please remove the duvets before you have sex as they are expensive and unique and very difficult to clean! Cleaning can cost up to EUR 3,500. Thank you for your cooperation!
Valuables can be stored in a safe in our office; please contact reception to arrange.
Guests are requested to lock their bedroom door when going out or going to bed.
The Castle shall not be held responsible for the damage or loss of any property owned by the guest or anyone connected to the guest’s stay. Any valuables left in bedrooms are personal responsibility of the guest.
In case of unlawful or violent behavior, the manager reserves the right to request any guest to leave the premises.
Dress Code
The Dress code at the Castle is elegant, smart and honoring its ambience and atmosphere. Ladies are invited to dress elegantly.
Tracksuits, t-shirts, shorts or flip-flops are not acceptable at the Castle, and worn out jeans with holes are neither. Shoes must be worn inside the castle and its grounds.
Smoking
The Castle is non-smoking in all of its interior, including the use of vape or electronic cigarettes. You are welcome to smoke cigarettes and vape outside.
